Borewell submersible pumps gain their name due to the fact they are installed vertically into a bore well and fully submerged in the water. Once they are submerged they pump water to the surface via a hermetically sealed motor. These multi-stage pumps are known to be extremely power efficient and are made from cast iron with a CED coating and come in typical power ranges from 3 through to 25hp.
