Recently, Texmo Industries undertook a Foundry Expansion Project. Thanks to the growth in customer demand, adding operations space has become quite an important necessity for us.

One of the ways in which we achieved this was by demolishing our old core shop and constructing a brand-new building, called A2, in a record time of 8 months.

And what have we achieved with this mammoth project? Here are a few of the main features:

• Increase in foundry plant capacity from 47 Tons to 62.5 Tons
• Streamlined material flow and
• Better processes to boost levels of efficiency, & standards of customer service even more

One significant feature of the new A2 building is better space utilisation – 15876 sq ft space gets all our tasks done because we have designed for more of vertical space. Here is a look at our old and new building:

The old building was demolished in December 2021:

Construction began on the new building immediately (and at top speed!):

And by August 2022, our brand new A2 building was ready to start its work for Taro Pumps:
