Revamps And Realignments
Texmo Industries conducts meets all over India to deepen our interactions with customers, dealers, mechanics, service technicians, and sales staff too. We get some delightful feedback from participants who state their appreciation of Taro Pumps for their:
-
2-year warranty
-
Quality of construction
-
Easy serviceability & quick service response
-
15-year spare parts availability
-
Longevity
Indeed, the durability of our pumps has stood us in great stead with our dealers and customers, some of whom have been around since the 1960s. So, we could leave well enough alone by keeping our products in an ‘as is where is’ condition. But, as a progressive company, we also believe that we should abide by our culture of continual improvements and make our products better & better.
The other vital reason why we revamp and realign our products is customer feedback.
When our customers inform us about the changes they would like to see, we try and implement them. In the recent past, we kept customer feedback on top of our whiteboard and made a few changes to our product portfolio.
The newbie!
We launched a brand-new pump exclusively for our customers in West Bengal. Dubbed WB3, this pump is also characterised by:
-
Being able to fill water sumps faster and with lower power consumption
-
Being perfectly suited to the change in water table in the region – a 3” submersible pump fits the bill
-
Its stronger composition since it is made of high-grade cast iron
-
An ability to handle high voltage range of 200-240 V and
-
Easy installation & serviceability
The revamps
During the last few months, we also revamped three of our products and made them even better:
-
TSP2
-
6” borewell submersible pump
-
4” borewell submersible
The TSP2 has been one of our highest selling products for the past five years. The revamp of the TSP2 led to a 25% increase in efficiency, and a 33% reduction in power consumption. These changes have delighted our customers immensely!
The new 6” borewell submersible Power Series pump was revamped because customers told us about the need to deal with differing voltage bands in the field. By upgrading the housing parts, changing the sand guard material, and ramping up the overhang protectors, we made the 6” borewell submersible pump capable of operating with two different voltage bands.
And finally, the new 4” borewell 8 Series needed to improve across a few aspects such as the shell manufacturing process stage, serviceability, and design improvements. Our team got down to business and worked on delivering a product that not only corrected all these issues but also had a 2% increase in efficiency and now also has best-in-class reusability of parts.
Our team of engineers don’t believe in resting on their laurels! And they don’t believe that constancy is sacrosanct. So, if there is even the smallest opportunity to make a significant change, even in a best-selling product, they will get to work right away. Because at the end of all the revamps and realignments is a happier customer.
